Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in schools across Corby and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced support staff looking to play a key role in supporting pupils and teachers across a range of year groups.

The Role:

  • Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.

  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Work with individuals, small groups, and whole classes to promote engagement and achievement.

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, assessment, and classroom management.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.

  • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting.

  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • The ability to work independently and confidently lead learning activities.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
