The Role

As a Media Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons to secondary-aged students.

  • Create engaging learning experiences that inspire creativity and critical thinking.

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure strong academic achievement.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and student engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level.

  • Possess strong subject knowledge and a passion for media, film, digital content, and contemporary communications.

  • Be able to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

  • Be committed to raising standards and supporting student success.
