Graduate Science Teacher | Northampton

This opportunity is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching and looking to build valuable school-based experience before progressing onto a PGCE, SCITT, School Direct, or other teacher training pathways.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Science department in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Leading small-group interventions and providing one-to-one support to reinforce key scientific concepts

  • Assisting with practical experiments, demonstrations, and classroom activities

  • Supporting teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and marking under guidance

  • Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and academic progress in Science

  • Contributing to wider school life through STEM clubs, revision sessions, and enrichment activities

Who We're Looking For:

  • A recent Science graduate (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or a related discipline) with a 2:2 degree or above

  • Individuals with a genuine passion for Science and education

  • Strong communicators with a positive, proactive, and professional approach

  • Aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience before formal teacher training

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to making a positive impact on young people's education
