We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Kettering that is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and keen to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students in their academic and personal development.

The Role

  • Supporting teachers during lessons across KS3 and KS4 to help students remain engaged and focused on their learning

  • Working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including those with SEND or additional learning needs

  • Assisting with classroom management and encouraging positive behaviour

  • Helping students develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their studies

  • Supporting both the academic and pastoral needs of students across the school

  • Has experience working with young people through education, childcare, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or care settings (desirable but not essential)
