Pay Rate: £95-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with secondary schools across Corby who are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a permanent, long-term position starting September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, support student learning, and build a clear pathway into teaching.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for graduates who are committed to building a career in education. You will work closely with teaching staff, support students across a range of subjects, and play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role provides excellent preparation for future teacher training routes such as PGCE, SCITT, QTS, or apprenticeship-based pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with students 1:1 and in small groups to provide targeted academic support
- Assist pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive engagement
- Prepare learning resources and support lesson activities
- Build strong relationships with students to support progress and confidence
- Gain ongoing experience across a variety of subjects and year groups
