TradeWind Recruitment is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art and Photography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop their artistic skills, creativity, and confidence through a broad and engaging curriculum.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we are looking for someone with a passion for visual arts and photography who can encourage students to explore and express their creativity.

The Role:

  • Teach Art and Photography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where available.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' practical, creative, and analytical skills.

  • Support students in exploring a range of artistic techniques, media, and photographic processes.

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.

  • Organise and contribute to exhibitions, displays, enrichment activities, and creative projects.

  • Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, and artistic achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Art and/or Photography within a UK secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.

  • The ability to inspire students of all abilities and encourage artistic development.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
