Student Support Officer
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only (plus training days)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Officer to join a welcoming and supportive educational setting in the Corby area.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral and behavioural support to students across the school.
Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
Support attendance, engagement, and student wellbeing initiatives.
Work closely with teachers and safeguarding teams to identify and address student needs.
Deliver interventions and mentoring programmes to support personal development.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to student support plans.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, care, or support setting.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
An understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
The ability to motivate and support students from a range of backgrounds.
