We are working with forward-thinking and inclusive secondary schools in and around Daventry that are seeking dynamic Science Teachers for a September 2026 start. These full-time positions are available on either a contract or permanent basis, offering an excellent opportunity to join well-resourced Science departments and make a lasting impact on students' education.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
  • Plan creative and inclusive lessons that support students of all abilities in developing strong scientific understanding
  • Use practical experiments and investigations to bring Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to life
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Contribute to departmental planning, STEM initiatives, enrichment activities, science clubs, and educational trips
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school improvement

We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
  • Strong subject knowledge and a secure understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities
  • A commitment to high standards, academic progress, and fostering scientific curiosity
  • Excellent classroom management, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • ECTs are welcome to apply, with full induction and mentoring support provided
