Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Corby that is seeking to appoint committed Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026. The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis; however, long-term supply and fixed-term arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain valuable experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.

The Role

  • Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range
  • Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including those with SEND or additional learning needs
  • Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and motivated throughout the school day
  • Supporting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, nurturing classroom environment
  • Assisting with targeted interventions to support progress in core subjects such as English and Maths
  • Encouraging pupils to build confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Supporting wider pastoral care and classroom routines where required

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Is patient, caring, and supportive when working with children

  • Is reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to a busy school environment
  • Has experience working with children or young people (education, care, nursery, youth work, coaching, or similar is desirable but not essential)
