We are working with a number of secondary schools across Northampton that are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated RE Teachers to join their teams from September 2026. Opportunities are available on both a long-term supply and permanent basis, offering excellent support and career development.
What You'll Be Doing:
Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available in some schools
Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons covering religion, philosophy, ethics, and contemporary issues
Encouraging students to think critically, debate respectfully, and develop an appreciation of different beliefs and perspectives
Supporting learners of all abilities through inclusive teaching, effective assessment, and constructive feedback
Working collaboratively with the Humanities department to contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Religious Education
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
A reflective practitioner committed to achieving the best outcomes for every student
