Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality PE lessons alongside teaching staff
  • Coach students across a range of sports during curriculum PE and extracurricular activities
  • Assist with the planning, organisation, and running of fixtures, clubs, and school competitions
  • Encourage participation in sport and promote engagement across all ability levels
  • Support student behaviour, motivation, and engagement during practical sessions
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and energetic sporting environment
  • Contribute to the smooth daily running of the PE department

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong passion for sport, PE, fitness, and youth development
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or working with young people (school, club, or community setting) is desirable
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and able to engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, reliable, and positive approach to work
  • Relevant sports qualifications (e.g. Sports Coaching, Sports Science degree, or coaching badges) are welcome but not essential
