Role Overview

  • Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 available for suitable candidates

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop mathematical understanding, fluency, and confidence

  • Differentiating effectively to support students of all abilities and ensure strong progress

  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting their academic success

  • Working collaboratively with the Maths department to develop resources, schemes of work, and assessments

  • Using a range of teaching strategies to make Maths accessible and engaging for all learners

  • Contributing to wider school life, including enrichment activities, intervention programmes, and extracurricular opportunities

Who You Are

  • A qualified Maths Teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent

  • Confident teaching Maths across the secondary curriculum

  • Able to explain mathematical concepts clearly and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, behaviour, and student achievement

  • A positive and collaborative team member who enjoys contributing to department success

  • Suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with appropriate support and mentoring available
