A-Level Law Tutor Needed - Help Students Achieve Their Potential Through Personalised Tuition

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking knowledgeable and dedicated A-Level Law Tutors to deliver high-quality tuition on behalf of local authorities across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers, experienced tutors, lecturers, or legal professionals with teaching experience who are passionate about supporting young people to achieve academic success. Many of the students you will work with are unable to attend mainstream education due to medical needs, SEND, anxiety, or other barriers to learning, making your role essential in helping them continue their education and work towards their A-Level qualifications.

Tuition is delivered on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups, with sessions taking place in a variety of settings including students' homes, schools, libraries, or community venues, depending on the requirements of each learner.

The Role

As an A-Level Law Tutor, you will:

• Deliver engaging and personalised tuition covering the A-Level Law curriculum.
• Support students in developing their understanding of key legal principles, criminal law, tort law, contract law, the English legal system, and human rights, depending on the awarding body.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles, abilities, and educational needs.
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, resilience, and academic progress.
• Monitor student development and provide feedback following each tuition session.
• Prepare students for coursework, assessments, and final examinations.
• Work closely with Tradewind Recruitment and local authority teams to ensure students receive the highest quality educational support.

We Are Looking For:

• Experience teaching or tutoring A-Level Law.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant tutoring or teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the A-Level Law curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate and engage students who may have experienced disruption to their education.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment.
• The Right to Work in the UK.
