Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Kettering? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with their learning and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
• Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEN or additional learning needs.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils with their confidence, engagement and independence.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and following school behaviour policies.
• Building strong and positive relationships with pupils.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other members of staff.
• Supporting pupils both academically and pastorally where required.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting children and young people.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Confident working with pupils with a range of abilities and needs.
• A strong communicator and team player.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Previous experience working in a school or with children is desirable, but not essential.
