English Teacher - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring a love of literature and language while helping students achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being advantageous but not essential. You will join a supportive department that values high-quality teaching, creativity, and student progress.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons.

  • Teach a broad English curriculum across KS3 and KS4.

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and English department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • A passion for English and raising student achievement.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
