Daily Supply Teaching Assistant

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools throughout Kingston and the surrounding areas on a day-to-day and short-term basis.

We have regular demand for TAs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils in both classroom and small-group settings. Whether you are an experienced TA, recently qualified or looking to gain further experience within education, we can help find opportunities that suit your experience, preferred year groups and availability.

As a supply Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting the class teacher with lessons, working with small groups or providing 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance. Schools value TAs who are adaptable, proactive and confident working with different pupils and staff teams.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• SEN experience is desirable but not essential
• A patient, caring and positive approach to supporting children
• Adaptable, reliable and confident when working in different school environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge
