SEN Teaching Assistant - Daily Supply

Daily rate: £90 - £110/day

Pay structure: Weekly PAYE only

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools throughout Kingston and the surrounding areas on a day-to-day and short-term basis.

We have regular demand for SEN TAs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs both within the classroom and through targeted 1:1 or small-group support.

You may be supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication and language needs or other additional learning needs. Schools value SEN Teaching Assistants who are patient, nurturing and adaptable, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school, nursery or educational setting
• Experience working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Experience providing 1:1 and/or small-group support
• Knowledge or experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, SEMH or communication needs is desirable
• A patient, caring and nurturing approach
• Adaptable, reliable and confident when working in different school environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge
