The roles could be an excellent fit for graduates, Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, tutors, sports coaches, youth workers, mentors, or aspiring teachers who are confident working with young people and ready to take on greater responsibility within the classroom.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and school leaders while developing your skills in lesson delivery, classroom management, behaviour management, student engagement, and supporting pupil progress.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Take responsibility for whole-class learning when covering lessons.
• Create a positive, calm, and purposeful classroom environment.
• Set clear expectations and manage behaviour effectively.
• Encourage students to participate and remain focused on their learning.
• Support students with their academic progress and wider development.
• Build strong and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and pastoral teams.
• Adapt to different school settings and classroom requirements.
• Take part in relevant training and contribute positively to school life.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Experience in education, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or a similar environment.
• The confidence to lead and manage a classroom.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
• The resilience and consistency required to manage classroom behaviour.
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
• An interest in developing a long-term career within education.
