Teaching Assistant - Corby

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils, providing support both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Role

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning

• Supporting pupils with their academic and personal development

• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment

• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence

• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines

• Working closely with teachers and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about working with children and young people

• Patient, approachable and supportive

• Confident building positive relationships with pupils

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
