Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support schools across Sheffield, working with pupils with a range of SEN and/or SEMH needs.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across educational settings.
- Work with pupils on a 1:1, small-group and whole-class basis.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN/SEMH needs.
- Deliver interventions and learning activities where required.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Support behaviour, engagement and individual learning needs.
About You
- Experience working as an HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant.
- Strong understanding of SEN and/or SEMH needs.
- Confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Patient, adaptable and proactive.
- Able to build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in education are desirable.
Pay
£100-£120 per day, with the opportunity to earn towards the higher end of the scale depending on your experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
Please note that the daily rate can also vary depending on the individual school's available budget for each position.
