Specialist SEN School | Very High Needs | Full-Time Opportunity
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Sheffield, supporting pupils with very high and complex needs.
This is a rewarding but demanding setting, requiring a teacher who is patient, nurturing, resilient and confident in adapting learning to meet individual needs.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Teach pupils with complex SEN and additional needs.
- Adapt learning to suit individual abilities and communication needs.
- Support emotional regulation, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong experience teaching pupils with SEN and/or complex needs.
- Confident working within a very high-needs specialist setting.
- Patient, nurturing and adaptable in your approach.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Previous experience within a specialist SEN school is highly desirable.
Pay
£200-£232 per day, with the opportunity to earn towards the higher end of the scale depending on your experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
Please note that the daily rate can also vary depending on the individual school's available budget for the position.
