We're looking for passionate DT Technicians to work across a range of Secondary schools in Lincolnshire on a daily supply and long-term basis.

The role is particularly well suited to people with a background in Design Technology, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Woodwork, Metalwork or other practical and technical disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians and professionals looking to use their practical skills in an educational setting.

As a DT Technician on supply, you will;

• Supporting teaching staff with the preparation and delivery of practical DT lessons
• Preparing, maintaining and organising tools, equipment and materials for practical lessons
• Ensuring workshops, classrooms and practical areas are clean, safe and well organised
• Supporting students with the safe and appropriate use of tools, machinery and equipment
• Assisting with demonstrations and practical activities across KS3 and KS4
• Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance of tools, machinery and equipment
• Ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Managing and maintaining stock levels of materials, resources and equipment
• Supporting teachers with the preparation of classroom resources and practical projects
• Reporting any equipment, maintenance or health and safety concerns to the appropriate member of staff

To join us and be successful as a DT Technician, you will need to:

• Have relevant practical or technical experience, ideally within Design Technology, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Woodwork or Metalwork
• Have a good understanding of workshop health and safety procedures
• Be confident using a range of tools, equipment and machinery
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) - or willing to obtain one
• Professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
