£180-£280 per day | Full-Time | 2nd November Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist school in St Albans seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to start immediately after October half-term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher experienced in supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD. You will lead a small class, delivering personalised learning in a structured, nurturing environment where every pupil can make progress.
The Role
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Start date: 2nd November 2026
Pay: £180-£280 per day, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Temporary initially, with potential for a permanent position
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has relevant classroom experience.
Has experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD.
Can plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
Demonstrates strong classroom management and a calm, flexible approach.
Can work effectively with teaching assistants to support pupil progress.
This role is not suitable for ECTs or candidates without relevant teaching experience.
