Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' academic progress, confidence, and development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of daily lessons and classroom activities.
• Providing additional support to individual pupils and small groups.
• Helping children stay focused, engaged, and confident in their learning.
• Encouraging pupils to develop independence and positive learning habits.
• Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.
• Supporting classroom routines and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Helping to create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
• Reinforcing learning through targeted activities and additional support.
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development where required.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils' individual needs.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with children, ideally within a school, nursery, or similar setting.
• Is enthusiastic about supporting children's education and development.
• Is patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can follow the direction of the class teacher while also showing initiative.
• Is adaptable and comfortable supporting children with different abilities and learning needs.
• Is reliable, professional, and committed to safeguarding.
• Works well as part of a wider school team.
• Is available to start on 2nd November 2026.
