Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £30,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE £34,000-£40,000 in Year 1)

As a Recruitment Consultant at Tradewind Recruitment, you'll work in a dynamic, high-performance environment, matching exceptional teachers and support staff with schools across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Your Responsibilities
During your first 6-9 months:
Source and interview candidates for temporary and permanent roles
Create professional CV profiles for client marketing
Work closely with sales teams to increase candidate placements
Meet weekly targets and KPIs set by your manager
As you progress into sales:
Develop new business and manage client relationships
Negotiate margins and contracts
Maintain the highest safeguarding standards
Handle challenging conversations professionally
Deliver outstanding customer service and manage your time effectively
You'll earn commission at every stage of your career development.

£30,000 base salary, with realistic first-year earnings of £33,000-£40,000 through commission

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are motivated, ambitious and ready to work hard to achieve success.
You should have:
A degree (with part-time work experience during university) or relevant experience if not a graduate
Experience in sales, recruitment, hospitality, education or another fast-paced, target-driven environment
A consistent career history demonstrating progression and commitment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Resilience, motivation and a strong work ethic
The right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)

Task stage
First-stage interview with a Team Manager
