Learning Support Assistant - Northamptonshire

Full-Time | Term Time Only
Pay: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Northamptonshire that is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.

This is a full-time, term-time only position, ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in a rewarding education setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to engage fully in their learning and personal development.

The Role:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups across a range of subjects and abilities

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities

  • Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and self-esteem

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

  • Monitoring progress and contributing to reports and reviews

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or SEN environment

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN

  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
