Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a forward-thinking secondary school in Kettering, Northamptonshire, in their search for a dedicated French Teacher to join their modern languages department. This full-time position is to start as soon as possible and has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the Role:

  • Teaching French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Creating engaging and accessible lessons that inspire a love for languages

  • Monitoring student progress and contributing to departmental planning and assessment

  • Working closely with an experienced and supportive MFL team

  • Participating in whole-school events, parents' evenings, and CPD opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification

  • Have recent experience teaching French in a UK secondary school setting

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management

  • Be committed to raising standards and supporting students of all abilities

  • Be enthusiastic, approachable, and a team player
