SEN Teaching Assistant - Kettering, Northamptonshire - Immediate Start - £90-£100 per day (PAYE) - Full-Time

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kettering, Northamptonshire, to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs who is ready to make a real difference in a caring and vibrant school community.

About the role:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and one-to-one support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support consistent progress.
  • Adapt strategies and resources to meet individual needs effectively.

About you:

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN in a UK school setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them.
  • Right to work in the UK.
