As a Travel and Tourism Lecturer, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging, industry-relevant lessons to students studying at Levels 2 and 3. You'll bring your subject expertise and passion for global travel, customer service, and business operations to life in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of Travel and Tourism topics, including customer experience, travel operations, global destinations, and sustainable tourism.

  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress to ensure all learners reach their full potential.

  • Support learners in developing both academic and vocational skills relevant to the travel and hospitality industries.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an innovative and supportive learning environment.

  • Contribute to curriculum design and development, ensuring content remains current and industry-aligned.

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.

  • A degree or substantial industry experience within Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality.

  • Proven experience teaching or training within an FE or vocational setting.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • A passion for inspiring learners and promoting employability within the travel and tourism sector.
