Pastoral Co-ordinator

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Co-ordinator to join our inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in Tower Hamlets.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is dedicated to improving students' wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement - ensuring that every young person feels supported, valued, and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day pastoral support for students, ensuring their welfare and wellbeing are prioritised.

  • Work closely with Heads of Year, the Safeguarding and SEN teams, and external agencies to provide early intervention and targeted support.

  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and behaviour data to identify students in need of additional support.

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive school culture.

  • Support restorative approaches, mentoring, and behaviour management strategies across the school.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with young people in an educational, pastoral, or safeguarding capacity.

  • Demonstrates excellent communication, empathy, and organisational skills.

  • Is proactive, resilient, and committed to promoting the emotional wellbeing of students.

  • Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality at all times.
