Are you a dedicated English specialist with a genuine passion for supporting young people who learn best through patience, creativity, and consistent, positive relationships? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SEMH English Teacher to join a highly supportive SEN school in Northampton, working with secondary-aged students who face barriers related to social, emotional, and mental health needs.

This nurturing and forward-thinking school prides itself on helping every child re-engage with their education by creating a structured, emotionally safe, and inclusive learning environment. As the SEMH English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging English lessons that empower learners by building confidence in reading, writing, communication, and creativity. Your remit will include adapting the curriculum to suit a wide range of learning needs, using trauma-informed practice, and developing strategies that support emotional regulation so students can access learning successfully.

Requirements:

• QTS or QTLS (or relevant teaching qualification)

• Experience with SEMH or challenging behaviour is advantageous
