About the Role

You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that support progress, stretch ability, and inspire a positive attitude toward mathematics. You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking department with strong leadership and access to excellent resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed.

  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment conducive to learning.

  • Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and intervention strategies.

  • Establish strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and engagement.

  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths.

  • Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities.

  • Commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting diverse learning needs.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
