We are supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Northampton seeking to appoint a dedicated Physics Lecturer from January 2026. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering engaging and high-quality GCSE and/or A-Level Physics lessons across KS4 and KS5

  • Teaching core physics topics including mechanics, electricity, waves, thermodynamics, forces, and modern physics

  • Supporting students to develop strong problem-solving, analytical, and scientific inquiry skills

  • Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons that challenge, motivate, and support learners of all abilities

  • Contributing to STEM initiatives, extracurricular activities, and departmental development

  • Encouraging students to explore physics through experimentation, curiosity, and critical thinking

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with proven experience teaching Physics

  • Strong classroom management and a clear, engaging teaching style

  • A reflective, adaptable practitioner committed to inclusive education

  • Passionate about promoting STEM learning and helping students achieve their academic potential

  • Applications welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
