Level 3 Teaching Assistant & After School Playworker - Primary School (Stockport)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Stockport area, who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, combining support within EYFS during the school day and working as an after-school playworker.

Role Details:

  • Location: Stockport

  • Hours: 08:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday

  • Position: Long-term

  • Pay: Competitive rates, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children within an EYFS setting during the school day

  • Assisting with learning activities and personal development

  • Providing engaging, safe, and structured care as part of the after-school provision

  • Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support pupil wellbeing and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Have previous experience working within a primary school, ideally EYFS

  • Be enthusiastic, nurturing, and reliable

  • Have strong communication skills and a proactive approach
