English Teacher - Northampton
Start Date: January 2026 | Full-Time | Temporary (Jan-Apr 2026)

We are partnering with several inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools in Northampton, seeking enthusiastic English Teachers for January to April 2026. These are full-time temporary roles offering the chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a supportive teaching environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available in some schools)

  • Promote a love of reading, writing, and confident communication

  • Differentiate lessons to support learners of all abilities

  • Contribute to enrichment activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, and school events

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress

We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in English

  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective classroom strategies

  • A creative, reflective practitioner who inspires a love of literature and language

  • High expectations for student achievement and inclusive teaching

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply - full support and induction will be provided.
