Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant

📍 Northampton

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 basic + uncapped commission
Year 1 OTE: £35,000-£42,000
Requirement: Full UK driving licence or driving test already booked

The Role

As a Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant, you'll help connect talented teachers and support staff with schools where they can truly thrive. Our Impact Academy provides hands-on training, expert mentoring, and clear development routes to help you succeed and progress quickly within recruitment.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Sourcing, interviewing, and vetting education professionals

  • Creating compelling candidate profiles and introducing them to schools

  • Supporting experienced consultants while developing your own client base

  • Progressing into a full 360 recruitment role, including business development, relationship management, and salary negotiations

Who We're Looking For

  • A valid UK driving licence (or a test booked)

  • Motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude

  • Degree-level education or relevant professional experience

  • Confident communicator with a natural ability to build relationships


The Recruitment Process

  1. Initial telephone conversation with our Talent Manager

  2. Task-based assessment

  3. Interview with the Northampton Team Manager

  4. Final stage interview with a Director or CEO
