Food Technology Teacher - Hounslow

A large secondary school based in Hounslow are seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to start ASAP.
This is a long-term role with the potential to continue until at least July 2026.
The position is full time, although part-time applicants will be considered.
Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will be paid at the Outer London MPS/UPS rate, depending on experience.
The school also offers on-site parking for staff.

Food Technology Teacher - Hounslow

* Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, developing students' practical cooking skills, nutritional knowledge, and understanding of food science.
* Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons that inspire students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes.
* Promote safe working practices and maintain high standards within practical learning environments.
* Encourage independence, teamwork, and confidence through hands-on learning experiences.
* Contribute positively to the department and wider school community, supporting whole-school initiatives and values.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A relevant degree
