Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Stockport
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Stockport area who are looking to appoint a Year 6 Teaching Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who is confident working within KS2, particularly supporting pupils in preparation for SATs.
The Role:
Supporting the Year 6 class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Working with small groups and individual pupils
Delivering targeted interventions to support attainment and progress
Providing academic and pastoral support to pupils where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working within a KS2 classroom
Proven experience delivering interventions
A proactive, confident, and supportive approach
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
