Are you passionate about supporting SEND learners and keen to contribute to the lives and learning of a small focus group of children? An exciting opportunity awaits!

On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are currently seeking a SEND teacher to lead a class of 6 learners presenting SEND needs (mainly autism). Children are happy and keen to learn but require tailored support and guidance to support social and emotional development. The role is on a full-time basis from ASAP and will pay up to £200 per day.


In the class, there will also be two additional teaching assistants creating a very focused learning environment with 1:1 opportunities for children to make real progress. There will also be an element of personal care so experience or being comfortable with this will be crucial.

The role is open to both ECTS and experienced teachers but a background working with SEND pupils is essential. It's an opportunity which offers great work life balance with minimal marking and is an extremely rewarding role. These children require individual support in line with EHCP targets and a consistent teacher who wants the best for the children.

About the School

This is a mainstream primary school which is based on Droylsden and part of one of the fastest growing multi-academy trusts. The school have set up a SEND provision area to support the children and ensure learning Is accessible for all. The school is well resourced with excellent facilities and is well staffed with 1:1 teaching assistants to meet pupils' personal needs.

The school is led by an experienced Headteacher who is well respected by all staff and the wider school community. Staff are friendly, supportive and working towards a shared vision which is clear to see after visiting the school.
