Maths Teacher - Northampton

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Teach engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential A-Level teaching, depending on experience)

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that meet the needs of mixed-ability learners

  • Support students' progress and attainment through effective assessment and feedback

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-established Maths department

  • Contribute to the wider school community through interventions or enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics

  • Confident teaching the national curriculum, including GCSE preparation

  • Passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging, and relevant

  • Committed to helping all students reach their potential

  • A positive team player who contributes to school life
