We are partnering with a number of forward-thinking and inclusive secondary schools in Northampton who are seeking enthusiastic Teachers of English to join their teams immediately. These schools are committed to student engagement, staff development, and creating a positive learning environment where English is celebrated.

About the Role:

  • Deliver inspiring English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available in some schools)

  • Foster a love of reading, writing, and confident communication

  • Differentiate lessons to support learners of all abilities

  • Participate in enrichment activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, and school events

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, and monitoring student progress

We're Looking For:

  • Qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a specialism in English

  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies

  • Creative and reflective practitioner who inspires a love of literature and language

  • High expectations for student achievement and inclusive classroom practice

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply - full support and induction provided
