SANZA Teaching Agency are supporting an excellent school in Barking & Dagenham. The school is an independent provision that specialises in educating young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. They are looking for an English Teacher for KS3 & KS4.

Applications from qualified or unqualified teachers (not holding QTS) will be considered. If unqualified, you must have long-term experience teaching GCSE English.

They offer a creative, individualised curriculum and focus on nurturing confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills.

About you:

• Must have experience as a GCSE KS/KS4 English teacher
• Ideally have previous experience within a SEMH/PRU setting, however, applications from mainstream secondary teachers with a keen interest in transition into SEMH will also be considered
• Have a calm and caring nature, but be able to set firm and clear boundaries
• ​​​​​Have a genuine interest in pastoral care and supporting vulnerable young people
