Teacher of Science

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a thriving and supportive secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to contribute to a strong Science department with a clear commitment to high standards and student achievement.

The successful candidate will be able to teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach a specialism at Key Stage 5 would be advantageous but is not essential. Applications are welcomed from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or working towards it)

  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students

  • Have high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and progress

  • Be committed to professional development and collaborative working
