Maths Teacher

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in the Wellingborough area to recruit a motivated and committed Maths Teacher to join a strong and supportive mathematics department.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4

  • Monitoring, assessing, and supporting student progress

  • Contributing positively to departmental planning and development

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom practice

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics

  • Be able to motivate students of all abilities

  • Have high expectations for progress, behaviour, and achievement

  • Be committed to inclusive practice and continuous professional development
