Science Teacher - Wellingborough

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Role: Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in the Wellingborough area to recruit a passionate and committed Science Teacher.

This role is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers looking for a supportive department and the opportunity to make a real impact on student outcomes.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum

  • Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics welcomed

  • Promote high standards of behaviour and achievement

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)

  • Has experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management

  • Is enthusiastic, reflective and committed to continuous improvement

  • Has an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply)
