Modern Foreign Languages Teacher - French & German

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with strengths in French and German? Do you enjoy bringing languages and cultures to life and inspiring students to think beyond the classroom?

We are working with a secondary school in Kettering that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to join their team from February or April 2026. This full-time, long-term role is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to make a real impact.

About the Role:

  • Teach French and German across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that develop language skills and cultural awareness

  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed

  • Work collaboratively with the MFL department and wider school team

  • Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement

We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching French and German in a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for languages and global cultures

  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to make an impact from day one
