Science Teacher - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Wellingborough to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons and inspire students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential).

The role:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons

  • Teaching Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics in line with the national curriculum

  • Monitoring progress and supporting students of varying abilities

  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Science at secondary level

  • Be confident managing behaviour and motivating learners

  • Be committed to raising attainment and pupil engagement

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
