Tutor - Rushden, Northamptonshire

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support learners in the Rushden area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored academic support to students who require additional help outside of the classroom.

The Role

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition to pupils of varying abilities

  • Support students with core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science) or subject specialisms

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs

  • Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage confidence and progress

  • Sessions may take place in schools, homes, or alternative education settings

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly

  • Patient, reliable, and student-focused

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
