Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in primary and secondary schools across the Wellingborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils and making a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role

  • Support teachers with classroom learning and behaviour management

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need additional support

  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing

  • Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
