About the Role

As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the Science department

  • Work with small groups and individual students to strengthen understanding of key topics

  • Assist with practical investigations, lesson preparation, and classroom organisation

  • Provide feedback and academic support under the guidance of qualified teachers

  • Contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, intervention sessions, and revision workshops

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or similar), ideally 2:2 or above

  • A professional, positive, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with young people

  • A genuine interest in education and future teacher training

  • Commitment, reliability, and enthusiasm for working in a secondary school setting
